v1.2.9 Entilio stays responsive while it syncs, and it now trusts your mail server about which folder is which.
- ✦Fixed — Entilio could freeze for seconds at a time while syncing in the background, most noticeably on accounts with a very large mailbox. Syncing now works in small batches and hands control back between them, so the app keeps responding while it catches up.
- ✦Entilio now uses your mail server's own designation for special folders — Trash, Junk, Sent, Drafts and Archive — instead of guessing from the folder's name. If your mail is in a language other than English, or your provider names those folders unusually, they are far more likely to be recognised correctly.
- ✦Fixed — the folders Entilio treats as Trash are now recognised the same way everywhere in the app, so a folder identified as Trash in one place cannot be treated as an ordinary folder in another.
Week of Aug 17, 2026
v1.2.8 Your mail stays put when a folder changes on the mail server.
- ✦Fixed — mail could disappear from Entilio when a folder was renamed, or deleted and recreated, on the mail server. Entilio read the empty folder as proof the messages were gone and removed its own copies. It now keeps them — and on accounts where Entilio held the last remaining copy, that is the difference between the mail being there and not.
- ✦Fixed — when a mail server rebuilds a folder, Entilio no longer clears what it already has before fetching again. That fetch could come back empty, and by then the older mail was gone.
- ✦A folder that briefly stops responding, or comes back empty for a moment, no longer causes anything to be removed. Entilio now waits to be told a message is gone rather than assuming it from silence.
Week of Aug 17, 2026
v1.2.7 Sent mail lands where you expect it on iCloud, and moving between contacts is noticeably quicker.
- ✦Fixed — on iCloud, mail you send from Entilio now appears in your Sent folder. It was being filed into a similarly-named folder that your other Apple devices don't show as Sent, so sent messages could seem to vanish. New messages go to the right place from this version on.
- ✦Moving between contacts is much faster on a large mailbox. Counts and unread badges now update the moment something changes instead of being recalculated from scratch, which also makes deleting or filing a batch of mail feel immediate.
- ✦Fixed — in Gmail, moving a message out of Trash or Spam now really moves it, rather than leaving it where it was.
- ✦When you set up a rule that files mail into a new folder, Entilio now creates that folder straight away so you can see it worked — instead of the rule quietly failing the first time it runs.
- ✦Fixed — search highlighting is readable again in light mode.
- ✦Fixed — folder names on non-Gmail accounts are no longer mislabelled using Gmail's naming.
Week of Aug 10, 2026
v1.2.6 Security hardening throughout, faster bulk deletes, and connections that recover on their own.
- ✦Security hardening across how Entilio handles message content, credentials and printing. Mail is untrusted content, and this release tightens what it is allowed to do — including a case where content inside an email could run as code while you were searching.
- ✦Deleting a large number of messages at once is substantially faster, and the app stays responsive while it works.
- ✦Fixed — an expired Outlook sign-in now refreshes itself instead of asking you to reconnect the account.
- ✦Fixed — sending is more reliable. Entilio no longer depends on a setting that could go missing when an account was added.
- ✦Better behaviour when a mail provider is busy or rate-limiting: Entilio waits and retries as asked, rather than hammering the server and stalling.
- ✦Fixed — a flapping connection no longer reconnects every few seconds indefinitely, which was costing battery in the background.
- ✦Fixed — company names resolve correctly again for domains that previously got stuck retrying.
Week of Aug 10, 2026
v1.2.5 No more freezing after your Mac wakes up, and a one-click way to send us a diagnostic report.
- ✦Fixed — Entilio no longer freezes when your computer wakes from sleep. Every account used to try to catch up at the same instant, which could lock the window up for a couple of minutes; syncing is now paced so the app stays responsive while it catches up in the background.
- ✦New — if something goes wrong, you can send us a diagnostic report straight from Settings. It covers the last day of activity, strips out your email addresses and message contents first, and tells you exactly what it is sending.
- ✦Opening a very large folder is quicker and no longer risks stalling the app while it loads.
- ✦Groundwork for faster background syncing. Entilio can now check which folders have actually changed using a single lightweight request per account, rather than opening each folder in turn — measuring at over 99% of that routine checking avoided. It is running in observe-only mode this release while we confirm it across every mail provider.
Week of Aug 10, 2026
v1.2.3 Big speed gains on large mailboxes, and updates that no longer get stuck.
- ✦Entilio is much faster with a large mailbox. Your contact list stays smooth however far you scroll, and the app keeps responding while mail is coming in — including during the first big import after you connect an account.
- ✦Fixed — an update that stalls while downloading now retries on its own instead of sitting at a progress bar that never moves, and if it still can't finish you get a direct download link so you're never stranded on an old version.
- ✦Better battery life. Entilio holds its connection to your mail provider far more efficiently in the background, with a small fraction of the reconnections it used to make.
- ✦On Windows, Entilio now keeps its data in a local folder rather than your roaming profile — noticeably quicker on managed or company PCs. Anything already there moves across by itself the first time you open this version.
Week of Aug 10, 2026
v1.2.2 Guided app-password setup for Gmail and iCloud, and a clearer path to manage your subscription and updates.
- ✦Connecting a Gmail or iCloud account now walks you through it — a step-by-step guide opens the exact page to create the one-off app password these providers require, and drops it into the form when you're done. If a saved password ever stops working, the same guide is one click away in Settings to reconnect.
- ✦Manage your subscription any time — the "subscription expired" notice no longer blocks Settings, so you can open Sync & Subscription and renew without getting stuck.
- ✦Check for updates whenever you like — a new button in Sync & Subscription, and a dismissed update reminder now comes back after a couple of days instead of disappearing for good.
- ✦Moving mail to a folder is smoother — create a new folder right from the Move menu and the message files into it immediately, and the menu now closes when you click away.
Week of Aug 3, 2026
Entilio for Windows — now available.
- ✦Entilio now runs natively on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Download the installer from the download page; it sets up just for you in about a minute, needs no admin rights, and Entilio opens itself when it finishes.
- ✦Your account and full relationship layer — entities, tags, todos, and action history — are shared across Mac and Windows, so you can move between machines and pick up right where you left off.
- ✦The Windows build isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may flag it as an unrecognized app on first run — click "More info" then "Run anyway" and you won't be asked again.
Week of Jul 27, 2026
v1.0.7 Outlook and Microsoft 365 accounts — sign in with Microsoft, no app password.
- ✦Outlook, Microsoft 365, and outlook.com accounts are now supported. You connect one by signing in with Microsoft in your browser — there is no app password to generate, and reconnecting an account whose access has expired is a single click.
- ✦Outlook mail works like every other account: sending, your full folder list, attachments, move, archive, delete and undelete, and mark read or unread.
- ✦Changes you make elsewhere come back cleanly — a message you move in Outlook on the web or your phone lands in the right place instead of leaving a duplicate behind, and folders you delete on the server are cleared out here too.
- ✦Full Resync now covers Outlook accounts, and adding an account verifies the connection before it saves, so a wrong setting tells you what actually went wrong.
- ✦Attachments on Outlook accounts download on demand, and older messages fill in their contents when you open them rather than showing up empty.
Week of Jul 20, 2026
Drafts, a new Outgoing section, and a dashboard for what you send.
- ✦Drafts — save a message from compose and come back to it later. Drafts sync to your account's Drafts folder, so one you start at your desk is waiting on your phone, and editing a draft updates it in place instead of leaving a trail of copies.
- ✦New Outgoing section — one place for your drafts, your outbox, and the last 30 days of sent mail across every account, laid out as a board that collapses to a rail when the window narrows. Each card shows who the message is from and to, with inline actions and a live indicator while something is sending.
- ✦Outreach Pulse — a dashboard for your sent mail, with a twelve-month view of what you have sent and which messages got replies.
- ✦Attach files by dragging them straight onto the Entilio icon in the dock.
- ✦Special folders are now recognized by their Outlook and Yahoo names too, and Drafts joins Sent, Archive, Trash, and Junk as a folder Entilio understands properly.
- ✦The Appearance settings tab is back — theme, the new-mail chime, and how far back the dock badge counts unread.
- ✦The unread sparkline in the sidebar rail no longer counts mail that a pending auto-action is about to file away.
- ✦Fixed — a company you formed by merging entities could not be offered further company suggestions.
Week of Jul 13, 2026
v1.0.6 Gmail reliability hardening and a layout that adapts to narrow windows.
- ✦Major Gmail reliability work — closed the cases where a sync could hide inbox mail or, in rare situations, remove messages. Full Resync now re-downloads from All Mail to recover anything missing, and moving mail to Junk or Trash performs a real move.
- ✦Special folders — Sent, Archive, Trash, and Junk — are now detected correctly no matter what language your mail account is in.
- ✦Responsive layout — on narrower windows the contact sidebar collapses into a slim rail you can toggle open, with a live fetch-status indicator and an at-a-glance sparkline of what has arrived unread in the last 24 hours.
- ✦Faster Files tab — eliminated a roughly two-second pause when counting attachments.
- ✦A firewall-blocked account no longer drags down the freshness of your other folders.
Week of Jul 6, 2026
v1.0.5 One consistent way to read mail everywhere — plus deep Gmail correctness.
- ✦Every mail view — Inbox, Sent, Tagged, and any other folder — now shares one list, row, and reading pane, so mail looks and behaves the same wherever you are, topped by a redesigned floating viewer toolbar with clearer icons and Lock/Pin toggles.
- ✦Browse any folder — a new "Other emails" view surfaces all your folders and Gmail labels (system folders on top, your own below), auto-syncs a folder the moment you open it, and rolls mail up across a company's people and accounts.
- ✦Conversation threading — replies fold into a single threaded view with a conversation footer, each message carries its full reply history, and the "replied" indicator now lights up correctly.
- ✦Smarter Gmail handling — moves are now proper Gmail label changes instead of folder copies, deletes and moves apply to the folder you are actually viewing, and label changes you make elsewhere sync back correctly.
- ✦Mail that lands in more than one account shows a chain badge, with a tray to see — and reply from — the right account.
- ✦Files tab upgrades — download attachments from any folder, a detail drawer, detection of inline signature images, and decoding of Windows "winmail.dat" attachments.
- ✦Cleaner previews and text — plain text is now derived from HTML so list previews and the text view read cleanly, with a clear "no content" placeholder when a message is empty.
- ✦Multi-select gained a smart Read/Unread button, a custom sender filter in the bulk-action bar, and a simple Select all / Unselect all toggle.
- ✦Entity list — a same-domain composition line and AI-detected company affiliations, with a refreshed row layout.
- ✦More sync reliability — folder-move reconciliation, dependable server-side deletion detection, honest per-folder freshness, and cleanup of orphaned messages when a folder is deleted on the server.
Week of Jun 29, 2026
v1.0.0 Entilio 1.0 — we're officially live.
- ✦Entilio 1.0 is here: the app is out of pre-release, with automatic updates flowing from the new download and update servers.
- ✦Find-and-organize redesign — Search, Todos, and Tagged moved to a cleaner "rail + reader" layout with tabs that adapt as the window narrows, and Tagged now has a proper tag manager ("Flagged" is consistently called Tagged). Pinned items group by the person or company they belong to.
- ✦Redesigned upgrade page — a premium plan card with live pricing and a clearer monthly-vs-annual choice.
- ✦Your Sent tab is now organized by recipient, so you can see everything you sent a person or company — including threads where they were only Cc'd.
- ✦Multi-select got a redesign: a card deck with a bulk-action toolbar for moving, tagging, or deleting many emails at once.
- ✦Smarter, faster automation — suggestions surface the instant you act, rules re-check the moment you lock, pin, or tag a message, and the engine weighs how long you actually spend reading before disposing of mail.
- ✦Better Gmail support — smarter All-Mail syncing and label handling, plus a fix for message bodies that could fail to download.
- ✦More reliable syncing — incremental sync that fetches only what changed, an initial import that resumes right where it left off if you quit mid-way, background folder-sync with live diagnostics in Settings, and message bodies that backfill continuously on a bandwidth budget with a pausable "N left" countdown.
- ✦Noticeably faster — the multi-second pauses when navigating, switching between large companies, and during background sync are gone, and cold start is snappier.
- ✦Smoother reading — emails open cleanly with no text-then-formatting flash, and delete, move, and mark-as-read animate instantly instead of waiting on the server.
- ✦New app icon and a refreshed brand wordmark.
Week of Jun 22, 2026
Dashboard, in-app support, and background syncing.
- ✦In-app Support & Feedback — message us directly from the app for help, bug reports, or feature requests, as real conversations that update live.
- ✦Redesigned dashboard — hero cards, a focus panel, per-account email volume, a Sent gauge, an Open-Todos gauge, and a 30-day auto-actions gauge — plus an all-clear celebration when every todo is done.
- ✦Background folder-sync keeps your other folders fresh on a tiered rotation, with live diagnostics in Settings.
- ✦Auto-actions now apply only to fresh inbox arrivals, and the new-mail chime only rings for the inbox.
- ✦Compose now supports pasting attachments.
Week of Jun 16, 2026
The big one — automation that learns from you.
- ✦Auto-action suggestions: Entilio notices when you always delete or always file mail from a sender and offers to do it automatically, per address, with a clear explanation and one-tap override to pick a different folder or action.
- ✦"Repeat this move" bar — when you move a sender's mail somewhere you've moved it before, it's offered as one click.
- ✦Company suggestions — when several addresses share a domain, Entilio offers to group them into one company.
- ✦More resilient IMAP connections (smart backoff + retry) and a "failed accounts" indicator.
- ✦A "High Priority — No Deadline" section on the dashboard.
Week of Jun 8, 2026
